If you are a beginner, you are welcome to join any class at the studio. We are an All Levels Studio and teachers are trained for and want you to feel welcome, no matter your experience
Please join us for anything we offer at the studio. While everyone needs their own account, and registration to join us, a membership is not needed. Membership are just available for those who wish to come more often and save
Our Classes are labeled with activity levels - this is not to be confused with skill level. The activity level will allow you to know if it is a gentler and slower paced class or a more vigorous class. Please always feel welcome to take any class and ask for or take modifications to any posture
Our studios are Heated with state of the art, Infrared Heating Panels. The heating panels warm the body, instead of the air. This allows for the body to move with more ease, while keeping the air fresh and clean for breathing.
We add a small amount of humidity, to sooth the muscles and the lungs.
In a heated class, The studio is about 90-95 degrees, with about 60% Humidity (seasonal climate affected)
Our non-heated classes are about 70 degrees
A regular yoga mat works fine for any class at our studio. If you are taking a Hot yoga class, put a Yoga Towel or a beach towel over your mat to prevent slipping
Different from a regular yoga mat - A Hot Yoga Mat is designed to prevent slipping as you begin to sweat. Hot yoga mats are a financial investment, so explore whether you like hot yoga before investing in a hot yoga mat.
A Pilates mat is not designed for yoga and will create instability in your postures and may make your experience less than enjoyable
We rent yoga mats and towels for a reasonable $4, and we suggest renting a mat if you do not have the right kind of mat.
We sell Hot yoga mats and hot yoga towels at the studio and if you're ready to invest, we will help you pick out a mat that's right for you
We are trying to learn how to take care of ourselves and listen to ourselves while we are on our mats. Rule number one is no pain, especially in the joints. If you ever experience pain, remove yourself from the posture immediately, engage your muscle and try the posture again. If there is still pain, then this posture isn't right for your body at this time. Please ask for a modification or choose another posture that feels right for you.
If your joints ever have pain following a class, please discuss this with your teacher and your doctor
The studio opens 20 min before class and the door is locked upon the start of class. If you are new to the studio, it is suggested that you arrive 15 minutes early. If you are late to class, please refer to our studio cancellation policy.
Most importantly, enjoy yourself! This practice is for you. We want you to leave feeling easeful and connected to your body and your mind♡
